Hello everyone!

Thank you so much for considering a donation in support of my fundraising for the NYC Marathon this year. I?ve decided to raise money for Tackle Kids Cancer (TKC), a nonprofit that directs 100% of donations to pediatric cancer research and patient care programs at Hackensack Meridian Hospital. TKC funding supports 2 labs: 1) The Zakrzewski Lab, which is developing new immunotherapy treatments for pediatric cancer and 2) The Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Laboratory, which is dedicated to discovering new brain tumor therapies.

Pediatric cancer is the leading cause of death by disease among children in the U.S., yet only about 4% of national cancer research funding is allocated to it. That number might shrink further, recent reports show the administration?s proposed 2026 budget includes a 37% cut to the National Cancer Institute, reducing funding from $7.2 to $4.5 billion. By donating to organizations like TKC you can help bridge that gap so critical research can continue and medicine can move forward.
