Hi! My name is Gianna Rizzo & I’m running my first marathon in New York City this November to raise funds in support of pediatric cancer research and to help Tackle Kids Cancer! All money raised will benefit the Children’s Cancer Institute at Hackensack Meridian Health and will help their littlest patients become kids again!

I’m a Neonatal ICU nurse & taking care of the little ones has taught me that our youngest patients can be the most resilient! I’m so excited to pair my love for running with my passion for the pediatric population- a population that deserves to spend their childhood playing with toys, crawling around in the grass, & spending holidays with their families at home, not sick in a hospital bed getting medications & painful procedures every day.
