Our daughter Madeline was born 99 days early and weighed less than a pound at birth. She spent the first five months of her life at Hackensack Hospital's NICU in the Small Baby Unit. We know we wouldn't be here today without their kindness, medical expertise and hard working staff. They take care of some of the smallest and most complex babies and in return, give families like ours hope.

Now, almost four years later, Madeline continues to excel! She just started Pre-K and will be turning four years old next month. She is the happiest, most loving and most tenacious child we could have ever dreamed up. We're eternally grateful for all the love and kindness Hackensack NICU showed us in those very early and tumultous months.

We will be participating in this year's 2025 NICUSTRONG Walk. All money raised funds innovative treatment, cutting-edge equipment, much-needed research and support for our babies and families of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Hackensack Meridian Joseph M. Sanzari Children?s Hospital.
