We are running the Montclair Half Marathon in support of Tackle Kids Cancer

We are running the 2018 Montclair Half Marathon and raising funds in
support of pediatric cancer research and to help Tackle
Kids Cancer. All money raised will benefit the Children’s Cancer Institute at
Hackensack University Medical Center and will help their littlest patients
become kids again! Help us make a difference and donate to our team today.
Being on the front line in patient care, we see first hand how cancer impacts these children, their families. We see how vital the need is to make a difference, to find better treatments and to ultimately find a cure. No family should ever hear that they are out of options.
Did you know...
- Pediatric cancer is the #1 cause of death by disease among children in
the US
- Only 4% of cancer research dollars are allocated to pediatric cancer
- The average age of a pediatric cancer patient is 6 years old
- 20% of pediatric cancers do not have a cure
- Treatment from pediatric cancer has lasting physical and emotional effects on a patient
We are proud to work at Hackensack University Medical Center, part of Hackensack Meridian Health, where we are on the cutting edge with treatment:
- 11 new trials dedicated to pediatric neuro-oncology
- Only hospital in New Jersey and one of 30 nationwide to perform CAR-T Immunotherapy
- Cure & Beyond is one of the only survivorship programs in the country
The doctors at the Children’s Cancer Institute are working tirelessly to find a cure. Please support us and help end childhood cancer! We have a long way to go, and even $25 would make a big difference for the pediatric cancer patients at the Children's Cancer Institute.
Raising money to find a cure is a marathon – not a sprint! Thank you for supporting our run! Together we can make a bigger impact in this fight against pediatric cancer.
Thank you for helping us Tackle Kids Cancer!
