I am running the 2024 New York City Marathon to raise funds in support of pediatric cancer research and to help Tackle Kids Cancer.  All money raised will benefit the Children’s Cancer Institute at Hackensack Meridian Health and will help their littlest patients become kids again!

Having witnessed my parents battle cancer, I’ve experienced the profound toll it takes on patients and their loved ones. It’s especially heart-wrenching when children are affected, robbed of their innocence by this disease. Through my experiences as a medical student caring for pediatric cancer patients, I’ve been deeply inspired by their incredible bravery. This inspiration fuels my commitment to run the NYC Marathon for Tackle Kids Cancer, with the goal of making a meaningful impact in their lives and advancing innovation towards finding a cure. My ultimate hope is to contribute to a world where children can reclaim their childhoods from this terrible illness. 

The Children’s Cancer Institute at Hackensack Meridian Health has stood as a beacon of hope for children and families dealing with pediatric cancer…but more can be done. Pediatric cancer is the #1 cause of death by disease among children in the US and only 4% of cancer research dollars are allocated to pediatric cancer. These facts are devastating, but the doctors at the Children’s Cancer Institute are working tirelessly to find a cure.
