Hi all! I am super excited to be able to say that on November 6th, I will be running the 2022 New York City Marathon to raise funds in support of Tackle Kids Cancer! To partner with such an amazing organization has made my first marathon experience all that more special, and I feel honored to be supporting this cause.

Being a former pediatric patient with my diagnosis of Crohn’s Disease at the age of 15 has made me passionate about healthcare. I can empathize with what it feels like to be in and out of the hospital, have unanswerable questions and make difficult medical decisions. Just as importantly, I have seen the impact that a caring support system of family, friends, and healthcare providers can have, and how necessary high quality care is.

Through my partnership with TKC, all money raised will benefit the Children’s Cancer Institute at Hackensack Meridian Health, which conducts pediatric cancer research and helps the littlest patients become kids again! This institute has stood as a beacon of hope for children and families dealing with pediatric cancer, and TKC has staff working tirelessly to support it by helping sick children and their families find a way to heal and cope.

Thank you for any support you can provide to my run and fundraiser! My hope is that together we can make a bigger impact in the fight against pediatric cancer, and that together we can Tackle Kids Cancer! :)
