JSUMC Outpatient Oncology Program
We hope you will consider making a donation to support our Outpatient Oncology Program and patients in the HOPE Tower at Hackensack Meridian Health Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
Your support will help to assist our patients and their families as they navigate their cancer journey. Oftentimes our patients require financial assistance with purchases of food, medication, surgical supplies and transportation. Every donation at any size will make a big impact - here are a few examples:
- A patient was helped with purchasing medical supplies not covered by Medicaid. The patient has no support system, lives alone, and has very little means of income. The patient said it "helped him tremendously!"
- A widowed single parent with two young children was helped with food expenses.
- A team member assisted a patient to buy medical supplies since he needed help selecting the items. He was very appreciative for the supplies to help with his chronic discomfort. When he realized he could purchase supplies, his eyes opened wide and said, "Really?" When the team member told him he could also use it at the food store too, he started to cry.
Your support really means so much to our patients in financial need!
The Outpatient Oncology team spends a great deal of time not only caring for patients, but identifying more effective treatments through innovative clinical care, research and education programs. Your donation will also support innovative clinical care, advanced educational programs and state-of-the-art equipment that would not be possible without the generosity of donors, like you.
