The Hackensack Meridian Health Multicultural Team Member Resource Group is coordinating a "Friendsgiving" event for the residents of Carrier Clinic's East Mountain Youth Lodge (EMYL) program, which is a residential treatment facility for children ages 13-18 who have psychiatric, emotional, and/or behavioral difficulties. Along with the "Friendsgiving" meal that will take place at Carrier on Monday, December 16, the Group is spearheading a fundraising effort to raise funds to support the purchase of holiday gifts for the residents of the EMYL. Your generosity, along with the gathering of HMH team members and EMYL residents, will help lift the spirits of these children during the holiday season and beyond.
The Multicultural Team Member Resource Group has a vision to value team members from different cultures and their talents to empower them to reach their fullest potential in an inclusive work environment. Our objective is to provide a diverse perspective to better serve our patients and team members. We do this through voluntary groups that are organized around a particular shared interest or diversity dimension in hopes to strengthen the linkage within our communities.
