For my bar mitzvah project, I chose to raise money for Tackle Kids Cancer. Eli Manning, former New York Football Giants quarterback and two-time Super Bowl Champion, has been an advocate for Tackle Kids Cancer since its inception in 2015.
Cancer is a horrible disease, and I don’t think any kid should have to suffer from it. I lost my grandma to cancer almost 7 years ago and I can't imagine any kid having to go through and fight the way she did. As you all know I am a big Giants fan and look up to all athletes who give back to organizations like Tackle Kids Cancer.
Tackle Kids Cancer raises money to help children fighting cancer and their families. The money goes toward pediatric cancer research, helping hospitals find better treatments, and supporting kids and families while they are going through a really hard time.
