The Hackensack Meridian Center for Discovery and Innovation’s (CDI) Cancer Prevention Precision and Control Institute (CPPCI) is hosting a community block party and health fair at the Hackensack Meridian Health Interprofessional Health Sciences Campus in Nutley, NJ (former Roche North American headquarters). The Community Block Party/Health Fair is focused on the Caribbean and Latino population in an effort to address cancer disparities and provide needed health services and education.

Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) will leverage culturally tailored resources to incentivize participation in an event that provides healthy fun for the entire family. This event will provide free cancer prevention services and screenings for a wide range of other conditions as well as health education and other services relevant to the community. As with all CPPCI events, the team will be offering social determinants of health assessments to all participants while providing appropriate referrals and linkages for services.
