Ridgewood High School Fitness Club Tackle Kids Cancer
“Get Fit and Join the Fight Against Childhood Cancer”
RHS Fitness Club 1st annual CRUNCH -A-THON.
On Friday January 17, 2020 students at Ridgewood High School will compete in a sit up contest at the RHS Fitness Center to raise funds for Tackle Kids Cancer. Our team is committed to raising money to support the doctors, nurses, and researchers who work hard everyday to find a cure for pediatric cancer.
We all know someone who has been impacted by this terrible disease. The mom of one of our members, Justin Ivanov, is a survivor of childhood cancer with the help and care of The Children’s Cancer Institute at Hackensack University Medical Center. This institution has stood as a beacon of hope for children and families dealing with pediatric cancer…but more can be done. Pediatric cancer is the #1 cause of death by disease among children in the US and only 4% of cancer research dollars are allocated to pediatric cancer. These facts are devastating, but the doctors at the Children’s Cancer Institute are working tirelessly to find a cure.
Thanks for your support...together WE CAN Tackle Kids Cancer!
100 Percent of donations go to the Children’s Cancer Institute at Hackensack University Medical Center.
