Welcome to Nolan Vilim's Fundraising Page
Being an Ambassador for the Tackle Kids Cancer Program, run out of Hackensack University Medical Center, I have been working deligently to raise funds and awareness for pediatric cancer research. Over the past few years, I have been running toy drives to collect items to entertain pediatric patients during their sometimes long treatments in the hospital, volunteering at fundraising events and soliciting donations here through Eli's Challenge.
With Eli Manning's support, the community has raised $900,000 since 2016 through Eli’s Challenge. This year, Eli has pledged an additional $250,000 in support! This means for every dollar you donate, Eli will match it dollar for dollar!
Through the generosity of family and friends, I have been able to exceed my aggressive $5000 goal, but I won't stop here. Since only 4% of government cancer research is dedicated to pediatric cancer, I am hoping you will consider making a donation to help continue this important work.
Through my personal experience with cancer, I have watched as cancer tore away the young, loving, father of a family who lives no more than 200 feet from my front door, leaving behind a heart-broken household with a mother who had to singularly raise and now support putting three children through college. I have watched as cancer destroyed the 70-year long relationship of my inseparable elderly neighbors, leaving behind a man with a shattered heart who now wakes up every morning with no one by his side. Finally, I have watched as breast cancer afflicted my own mother. The culmination of these experiences has contributed to a personal interest in raising funds and awareness for pediatric cancer research because I know that these nightmarish stories will not end without our help.
Thank you for your consideration and support.
