For my bat mitzvah project I chose to raise money for pediatric cancer research. I was motivated when a family friend was recently diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. While there is still no cure to cancer thanks to charities like Tackle Kids Cancer more and more children are becoming cancer survivors. Tackle Kids Cancer is a foundation who’s goal is to raise money to find a cure for childhood cancer. I will be donating the money in honor of my bat mitzvah as well as to show support to Morgan Decter as she travels her road to recovery.

To help raise money I am hosting a bake sale on Sunday October 16th from 3-5pm in my driveway at 21 Wingate Drive.
