Hackensack Meridian Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation and Hackensack Meridian Palisades Medical Center Foundation joined together to host their annual golf outing on Monday, June 27 at The Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, NJ. Funds will support the human experience at Hackensack Meridian Hackensack University Medical Center and Hackensack Meridian Palisades Medical Center, which will benefit patients, their loved ones, and team members - today and in the future.

Hackensack University Medical Center’s campus is currently undergoing expansion as construction of the Helena Theurer Pavilion continues. Scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2022, the Helena Theurer Pavilion will provide the community with a state-of-the-art facility to go along with the innovative care Hackensack University Medical Center provides. The impressive nine-story, 530,000-square-foot facility will include 24 cutting-edge operating rooms, a 50-bed Intensive Care Unit and 150 medical/surgical private patient rooms, including a 50-bed Orthopedic Institute.

Palisades Medical Center is currently fundraising for the expansion of its Emergency Department. In the last four years, visits to the Emergency Department have increased by 10,000 visitors, exceeding 52,000 visitors annually. Plans to meet this need include adding individual exam rooms for greater privacy and dedicated space for pediatric and behavioral health patients.

We look forward to the future as we continue to provide the exceptional care our patients have come to expect and deserve.

With expanded availability of COVID-19 vaccines, hope is on the horizon. To create a safe experience, we are working in close coordination with Hackensack Meridian Health clinical teams to ensure adherence to all CDC, state and local guidelines at the event.

Morning shotgun registration and breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. The afternoon shotgun registration will begin at noon. Lunch will be served for all attendees from noon to 3 p.m. Morning shotgun golfers will receive a $150 gift certificate to the Pro Shop. This certificate is in addition to the outing’s distinctive golfer gifts. We offer this additional incentive to help ensure that course flow is consistent throughout the day and improve the experience for both morning and afternoon golfers. In advance of the outing, golfers will receive a link to pre-select their player gift, which will be shipped to the address of their choice. For those players that prefer to select their player gifts on-site, there will be an open air gift experience set up on the overlook balcony.
