In October 2024, I laced up my running shoes and unknowingly stepped into a new chapter of my life — one that’s been grounded in growth, healing, and purpose. Now, less than a year later, I’m training for my first-ever New York City Marathon with a cause that couldn’t hit closer to home: Tackle Kids Cancer.
I’m proud to run for Tackle Kids Cancer because I, too, am a childhood cancer survivor. I know firsthand the fight, the fear, and the strength it takes — not just for the child, but for the family, the doctors, the community. Supporting an organization that’s making real, local impact in pediatric cancer research and patient care feels like coming full circle.
Running has become my foundation — helping me reconnect to my body, build resilience, and learn how to truly love life again, without needing a drink in my hand to do it. It’s been a way forward, a way through.
I'm aiming to raise $5,000 for this incredible cause, and every donation — big or small — helps fund vital research and life-changing programs for kids fighting cancer today.
Whether you're here because you know my story, believe in the cause, or just want to support a first-time marathoner chasing something bigger than a finish line — thank you. Your support means everything.
Let’s do this — for the kids, for the survivors, and for the run.
